Edris Enofe & Malik Blade might have won over the fans of NXT with their comedy antics, but mocking Tony D’Angelo might have them in some trouble. Troy ‘Stacks’ Donovan and Channing ‘Two Dimes’ Lorenzo saw Blade & Enofe’s jokes, and told them if they have an issue with D’Angelo in his crew – settle it in the ring. It’ll be the NXT 2.0 in-ring debut of Donovan & Lorenzo, and they’re looking to kick things off in a big way.
Two Dimes & Stacks Complete Successful Debut, With Time Left To Brawl With Legado Del Fantasma
Stacks would kick things off with Enofe, before being driven into the corner. Two Dimes would get the tag and hit a rough back elbow before a body slam. Enofe would fire back with a dropkick, before Blade would tag in and hit an arm drag and a dropkick of his own.
Some tag team offence from Enofe & Blade would be met with Tony D’Angelo distraction, before Stacks would apply a stretch. Backstage, Legado Del Fantasma announced they were hitting the ring. They were coming to crash the match, before Enofe didn’t know this. He’d hit a knee strike before a tag to Blade.
Blade would hit the running forearm smash, before a lariat in the ropes. Stacks would kick out, while Enofe was taken out. A lariat dropped Blade, as Escobar made his way to the ramp. Cruz & Wilde backed him up, before Stacks & Two Dimes finished the match with a double big boot.
D’Angelo called Legado into the ring, and a massive six man brawl would ensue – with security breaking things up. This one is far from over, and could be on the fast track to War Games.
Sanga Tosses Wes Lee Around With Ease
Wes Lee has some anger issues to sort out, following the release of his tag team partner. Last week, when Von Wagner would take out both Lee & Nathan Frazier, he’d take an offer for help from Sanga as a challenge. Now tonight, Wes Lee will go one on one with the powerhouse Sanga, in a classic battle of speed vs. power.
Lee would grab a headlock to start, before looking for a sunset flip. Sanga stopped him in his tracks, before a beil that would make Keith Lee blush. A big uppercut would follow, before an attempt at German Suplex. Lee would fight with some back elbow smashes to break free.
The kicks of Lee would gain him some ground, sending Sanga to the outside before a double stomp to the back. Shotgun dropkick into the steel steps had Sanga take a knee, but one swipe for Sanga dropped him. Back in the ring, Sanga nailed a lariat before nailing the chokeslam for the win.
Following the match, Xyon Quinn would make his way to the ring. He’d be tossed aside by Sanga, who was ready to protect his opponent. This might be the start of a new tag team, who could get a third NXT Tag Team Championship reign for Lee soon.
