Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuG_TOtBEfc
Tonight should be a fun one as we make our final stop before WrestleMania Backlash this weekend. We’re going to get a tables match between the New Day and Sheamus and Ridge Holland as well as Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro meeting the Bloodline once more time.
We’ll be set to kick off WWE Smackdown Live Results at 8 p.m. EST, so grab plenty of snacks and settle in.
Segment 1
Charlotte Flair mocked Aliyah, who looked like she was ready for a match or something, and then Flair beat her down.
Ronda Rousey came out and she and Flair went at it in the ring and floor before the refs separated them.
Segment 2
Sasha Banks w/Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler w/Natalya
Banks started it off fast as she went after Baszler’s left arm with joint manipulation, but Baszler fought back and countered a huricanrana into a sidewalk slam as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a great match Baszler won via a small package and Natalya holding her feet onto the ropes.
After the match Natalya and Baszler tried to injure Banks while forcing Naomi to watch, but Naomi kicked Baszler out of the ring and then she and Banks held it against Natalya.
Segment 4
Happy Hour wasn’t so happy for Corbin as Moss mocked and ridiculed him out of the ring.
Segment 5
GUNTHER w/ Ludwig Kaiser vs. Drew Gulak
This was a not so quick squash GUNTHER won with a powerbomb.
Segment 6
Tables Match – Sheamus and Ridge Holland vs. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods
This one started off fast and furious as Woods and Kofi took it to them, and Kofi sent Sheamus into the barricade with a cross body off the top rope as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
Kofi has Sheamus on the announce desk when Butch crawled out from under the ring and attacked Kofi.
Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Woods, then he and Ridge slammed Woods through a table in the ring.
Segment 8
Lacey Evans concluded her pretaped story and came out in a re-debut and the fans welcomed her warmly.
Segment 9
Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
They started off trading holds early on, then Zayn countered a kinsasha with a Mishinoku Driver for a near pinfall as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
Zayn avoided a kinsasha by slipping to the floor. There, he hit Nakamura with a Helluva Kick and slid into the ring for a count out win. Maybe the WWE should use count out for matches Zayn’s not involved in? Just a thought.
Segment 11
The face off actually happened and the Bloodline got into a brawl with Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro. Reigns hit a Superman Punch on Drew, then RK-Bro took out the Usos with stereo RKOs.
Drew hit Reigns with a Claymore to send him to the floor and hold the ring as the show ended.
The ending would’ve had more impact had RK-Bro and Drew mocked Reigns’ acknowledgement line and the ending not been so predictable.
The show overall has come good matches and moments, but it didn’t deliver any punch excitement wise we’d expect heading into a show. Rather, it was a typical Smackdown.
What did you think of it? Let us now in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Live Results. We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.
See you then!
