Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina got married on the 90 Day Fiancé show in season 8. On the show, the couple faced difficult situations based on their differences and this made fans wonder if the two could stay married for long. The major issue the couple faced was Brandon’s parents’ excessive involvement in their lives especially with Brandon’s mother—Betty Gibbs who has always been overprotective of her son.
90 Day Fiancé: Brandon And Julia’s Love Story
At the beginning of Brandon and Julia‘s relationship, Betty tried to keep them apart because she was worried Julia was with her son for Green Card. The couple stayed at Brandon’s parents farm for a while and Julia made it expressly clear that she didn’t like the idea. This was because she didn’t like having to take care of the farm animals, the 90 Day fiance couple then got an apartment at Richmond which was a bigger city; this move gave the couple the privacy they so much needed.
They have also been able to satisfy their needs as they earn a lot more now that they have ventured into influencing, this has helped maintain a lifestyle they have always wanted. Things have gotten better between Julia and Brandon now that they only go to the farm occasionally. Surprisingly, Julia has been able to adjust to living at the farm and taking care of animals as she did recently and willingly when Brandon and his parents were not around. She has also expressed that she enjoys being around the German Shepherd Dogs that Brandon’s parents keep.
Now that things are sorted out between Brandon’s parents and Julia, the next step fans expect the couple to take is to start planning on expanding their family. However, the couple do not have raising a family in their books yet as Brandon has stated that he wanted them to wait till they were financially independent. Although, in the past fans have called the couple out for being immature and entitled, it is great to see that they have made their marriage work despite the hardships they faced.
