Cain Velasquez is suing Harry Goularte, the guy who allegedly molested his 4-year-old son between 2021 and 2022. Goularte worked as an employee at Patty’s Childcare in San Martin, California where Velasquez’s son—listed in the lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports as “ C.V Jr.” attended.

In the filing, Velasquez claims that Goularte “sexually abused, molest, touched and harassed C.V.” and that it occurred “on numerous occasions.” The lawsuit lists Harry Goularte’s step-father and mother as defendants as well given that they owned the daycare. As a result, the couple is alleged to have “fostered, maintained, and allowed an environment for its attendees to fall victim to sexual abuse at the hands of Harry.”

According to MMA Junkie, the report also pointed to neglect from the daycare in regards to Goularte’s behavior:

“Despite the warnings, observations, and signs of inappropriate behavior and conduct, Harry, at all times, remained permitted to reside on the property of Patty’s Childcare.”

Harry Goularte was charged with a felony count of a lewd and lascivious act involving the 4-year-old. An MMA legend and—at one time—an aspiring pro wrestler, Cain Velasquez was arrested in late February 2022 after he opened fire on Goularte outside his home.

Currently, Velasquez is looking at a charge of first-degree attempted murder in addition to a number of felonies related to the shooting. Following his arrest, Velasquez for the reasons for his actions with many being understanding of his anger and the situation.

Goularte was released on bail on June 6, 2022 and maintains that he is not guilty of the allegations. He is due back in court on September 20 and could face up to eight years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Velasquez had his bail denied the month before and could face 20 years for his actions.
