Izzy Drake or “Fake Drake” is a Drake impersonator who has gotten some attention lately for his recent shenanigans and being mistaken for the Toronto rap superstar. Now, he putting his claim to fame on the line in challenging the genuine article to a boxing match.

Also, up in the match is $1 million dollars by Celebrity Boxing’s Damon Feldman. The promoter says that the match is scheduled for August 27, 2022 and that Izzy Drake is on the card to fight. If the match takes place is up to the “Way 2 Sexy” artist.
Oh, this match has stakes! If the Champagne Papi impersonator loses, he will stop using the Gas Station Liquor Dad gimmick. However, should he manage to clobber Drake for a win, he wants a contract with the artist’s OVO label.
As a wrestling fan, I love this. Boxing matches are bouts for ranking and hopefully the title. The stakes for the champion are either he wins and remain champion or loses and lose the belt. That’s it—and really, that’s all it should be as competition.
However, sometimes you want a little more razzle dazzle, folks. Sure, that boxer might be champion but that doesn’t mean he necessarily has the charisma to draw eyes to pay-per-views and put butts in seats. It just means he is world-class caliber.
In this case, the stakes are higher for the award-winning artist since he would have to sign a clone to his label and put money into his promotion and success. This would be the guy that either drops him or beats him by points. That’s not happening.
Also, he’s one of the most popular artists in the world—he can’t get spanked by a guy who’s cloning for clout. That level of f**kery can’t stand, so don’t expect Drake to accept. At most he might jokingly respond to it and leave it.
