The problem child strikes again. As it is said many times before, Jake Paul’s main goal is money and fame and he most certainly does not lack either. A proof of this is his appearance on the list of highest-earning athletes under the age of 25. He takes the great sixth place on the list along with Josh Allen, Naomi Osaka, Trevor Lawrence and etc.
According to Sportico, he is in sixth place with an income of something above $37 million. On the top of the list, we can see Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills Quarterback with an astonishing number of $66.5 million which includes salary, prize money, and endorsements.
Jake Paul Is In Sixth Place On The Highest Earning Athletes Under 25 List
The tennis star Naomi Osaka follows in second place with $53 million. Kylian Mbappe is third with close to $50 million. The formula pilot Max Verstappen is in fourth place with $43 million. And Marshon Lattimore, the football quarterback is one step before Jake Paul with $41 million.
As soon as he sees himself on the list goes on and brags about it on Twitter. He re-tweets the original Mark J. Burns’s post with a caption – “Made my pro-debut January 30, 2020. Two years & four months later, I’m the 6th highest-paid athlete in the world 25 and under. Hate me all you want…I’m just gonna prove you wrong. Next stop August 13th.”
And he most certainly did prove this. Making as much money at his age is not something easily achievable. There are many fairly successful businesses and businessmen that do not make that amount of profit.
Jake’s professional boxing record is 5-0-0 making him a serious threat to all his following opponents. Yes, he does receive criticism about not fighting regular boxers, however, his record is there to stay. Opposing the critics, are his followers and supporters, amongst which we can see names like the podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan, the famous boxer and legend Mike Tyson, the current UFC fighter Tony Ferguson and etc.
His most recent fight is a rematch against Tyron Woodley back in December last year, where he won by a knockout.
He is to fight his next opponent on August the 13th, however, the identity of the opponent is still not revealed. Some are speculating that it might be the UFC star Conor McGregor, others that it will be a friendly match between him and Mike Tyson, and some say it might be the top boxer, Canelo Alvarez. But at this point, Jake Paul is the only one to know for sure.
Any of the given options in the above paragraph would be a good match for the rising star. Fame-wise and money-wise. Each of them is able to direct an exciting bout that will be spoken about much time after it ends. One is sure, and that is that if this, or next year a fight with any of the above happens, the list of highest-earning athletes will look a little bit different than now. A fight like this might easily launch Jake at the top of the list.
