Joe Rogan that we know is a devoted father, loving husband, and great company for his family. He is together with his wife for about 20 years. And he is married for 14 years. However, there is one thing that wouldn’t come to your mind – he is still against legal marriage in general.
Jessica Ditzel is a model, born on July 18th 1975. Joe Rogan met Jessica Ditzel at a restaurant in Los Angeles, where she worked as a cocktail waitress. They met in 2001 and are in a relationship ever since. At the moment that Joe met the model she already had a child (Kayla Rose, now 25 years old). The father of Jessica’s daughter is her late fiancée Keven Conner who passed away before the child is born.
After 20 Years With His Wife, Joe Rogan Is Still Against Legal Marriage
Jessica, as well as Joe Rogan, has broad working experience. She is a former model for the M Model Management modeling agency. She has worked at a Korean brand Wholesome, she has been an account executive for Robert Half Technology, and finally a manager at a rental car company.
Joe Rogan would choose not to marry his whole life. He speaks openly about his opposing the ‘need’ to go into a legal marriage. He even ‘confesses’ that if Jessica, his wife, would have not been pregnant, most probably he would not have proposed to her.
“I had to tie the knot. Not really had to, but you know, she made a baby. It’s like ‘God alright, I’ll sign a silly legal contract.’ What she did was way more of a commitment.” – Joe says in one episode of his podcast.
He also reveals that since he decided to get married he does have his wife sign a prenup. In 2001 Joe was not as wealthy as he is now, but he just wanted to be on the safe side.
“Marriage is dumb.” Rogan says. “She lets me do whatever I do. That’s how we get along well. She doesn’t mess with me. A prenup? Of course. I’m ridiculous and dumb, but I’m not stupid.” – Rogan says.
Rogan has two daughters with his wife Jessica. Lola and Rosy. Joe’s firstborn child, Lola is born in 2008, before the couple enters into marriage. And the second one, Rosy, is born in 2010, two years later.
Joe Rogan is a person that tries to keep his family life as private as possible. He lives in an ‘isolated’ area, without many people around him. He doesn’t post photos or videos of his loved ones and he even avoids speaking about his family.
Jessica Rogan is even more careful when it comes to privacy. She even has her Instagram account private and doesn’t accept people she doesn’t personally know.
