Jorge Masvidal wants to be Nate Diaz’s last opponent in the UFC. Since Nate announces that he wants to retire from the UFC there has been nothing more than just excuses about who and why he is not fighting. Jorge Masvidal is open to helping his old rival and arranging for him a farewell fight as he deserves. With a bloody nose and down on the floor.
Masvidal won the first time the duo met back in UFC 244 in 2019. Even though he did not acquire any champion title from the match, he got a ‘BMF’ belt that is introduced to the UFC solely because of these two. The baddest in the UFC. Now, the Gamebred is looking forward to repeating what he did back then.
Jorge Masvidal Open To Fight Nate Diaz – Criticizes Diaz’s ‘Contract Issues’ – ‘Just F*cking Fight! What Are You? A Diva?’
“I could sign him off in his last fight if he wants. All that shit-talking he’s been doing lately. I wouldn’t mind breaking his jaw and sending him off to whatever gambling casino he’s going to be fighting at or Indian reservation he’ll be headlining. I don’t mind.” – Masvidal says jokingly.
Masvidal, same as many fighters in the UFC, including Nate Diaz, is fighting for a better pay. However, when it comes to Nate, he calls him ‘diva’ for making such a big fuss on social media about this.
“I think he’s got too much CTE, probably can’t even fucking understand what they’re putting in front of him. Don’t know. I usually don’t take the UFC’s side for many things, but from what I’ve heard and seen, I’m like, this guy’s just a fucking diva, bro – just fucking fight!” – The Gamebred says for MMA hour.
The Cuban native brings up the BMF fight up again. He recalls Diaz’s bloody face and explains that what causes the referee stoppage of the fight is his consecutive hits in Diaz’s mouth. Nevertheless, Diaz calls him out afterwards and says that the referee is to blame for his loss.
“Yet he called me a coward, said all types of shit, and continues to fucking play it up like that. You don’t have to get the rematch like that. You can just say, ‘Hey, let’s rematch. It was a good first fight.’ Calling me a coward, or I was ready to quit, have you ever seen me quit in a fight?” – Masvidal calls him out.
Diaz has no fights since his loss to Leon Edwards back at UFC 263 in 2021. Masvidal, on the other hand, fought and loss to Colby Covington back in March.
Nevertheless, the UFC fans would very much like to see a fight between these two happen. The original BMF fight. One is sure, it will be brutal.
