Meghan Markle became a Twitter sensation, as she began trending in response to her appearance at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Meghan and Prince Harry made their long-awaited return to the UK, as they took part in the celebrations for the monarch’s 70th year in charge.
While the couple received a mixed response, as as characterised by the boos a the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St Paul’s Cathedral, across the pond Meghan’s popularity increased on en masse.
This popularity was in response to the negative media scrutiny Meghan had received upon her return. With that being said, Meghan appeared to have gained a hardcore fan base that were very critical of the British public’s treatment towards her.
As a result, they had no qualms in having Meghan based in the US. One person wrote: “What Brits don’t realise is that during pride in Los Angeles…they played Meghan Markle walking into St. Paul’s in white on a loop! Keep trashing her.
“Make her even more iconic. Alienate the Commonwealth. Us black queens have her. #MeghanMarkle #Jubilee #HarryandMeghan.”
And that was not just an isolated incident. Additional comments emerged around the general happiness that Harry and Meghan were feeling by raising their children in an environment that was void of toxicity.
In comparison, the Royal family has recently been drowned by scandals most notably Prince Andrew’s sexual assault scandal, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton’s disastrous Royal Caribbean tour.
One such other user shared an image of Harry and Meghan holding their children with massive smiles on their faces. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Look at this lovely family #MeghanMarkle.”
Meghan has shown that she is not going to capitulate under Royal pressure. And with an army of loyal supporters, she has no intention of doing so.
With that being said, unless a genuine olive branch is given, we are no closer to seeing a reconciliation between Meghan and the Royal family. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
