Piers Morgan has reacted to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being booed during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Harry And Meghan Fans Slam Piers Morgan’s ‘Vendetta’ After Trolling The Couple For Being Booed At The Platinum Jubilee-‘He Is Seriously Pathetic!’
Piers, for his part, has hardly been a fan of the couple since their exit from the Royal family in 2020.
During the course of that process, he has been particularly hostile towards Meghan which resulted in him walking out of his job from ‘Good Morning Britain’ with criticisms that he had been treating the Duchess very harshly in the media.
So when the couple were booed during their attendance at the National Service of Thanksgiving held at St Paul’s Cathedral, it simply gave Piers more ammunition to use against the couple.
And by the looks of it, he was happy to play along. In a post to his fans on Twitter, Piers shared a video clip showing people celebrating and cheering during the celebrations.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “So, to recap..Boris Johnson got booed, the Sussexes got booed, and this is what happened to me.”
While Piers enjoyed having a laugh at the couple’s expense, he was heavily criticised for the following reasons. First of all, his condemnation of the couple has reached a point where it has started to become obsessive.
Secondly, supporters of Harry and Meghan started to become very hostile by responding to Piers with derogatory remarks.
One person wrote: “I am appalled at the commentary by Piers Morgan – he had taken over the show and seemed to personalize a vendetta style approach on Prince Harry and his wife all throughout the series of the jubilee.”
While another person stated: “He is making up lies about Harry and Meghan, he is seriously pathetic!” Piers is clearly not Harry and Meghan’s biggest fan.
And even if they do end up reconciling with the Royal family, there is a feeling that his perception is not going to be changing any time soon. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
