Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to attend the platinum service of thanksgiving, which is set to be held today, Friday, June 3, 2022. The royal couple recently made their widely anticipated return to the UK for the weekend-long platinum jubilee festivities.
Although the Sussexes did not join other royals at the balcony for the Trooping the Colour event, they are expected at the royal service that will be held at St. Paul’s cathedral. It will be the first time the couple will appear with other members of the royal family at a royal event since they stepped down from their roles as working members of the family.

But, in the end, it might have been for the best.” According to reliable royal sources, the Queen decided to exclude the couple from the balcony to avoid recreating the controversy that generated when Prince Andrew walked her down the aisle at Prince Philip’s memorial service in March 2022.
So much noise has been made about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the United Kingdom. The couple landed in the UK with their two kids, Archie and Lilibet. Princess Lilibet, on the other hand, will be celebrating her first birthday on Saturday, June 4th 2022 and the Queen has planned to skip the Epsom Derby, scheduled to be held on the 4th of June 2022, to be with Lilibet as she clocks a new age.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed by Buckingham Palace sources that the Queen will not be present at the royal service. However, the palace sources confirmed that Her Majesty will attend the beacon lighting event at Windsor Castle that will be held much later on Friday, June 3rd, 2022.
