Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be an interesting episode as Elias returns, and we’re curious if it’ll involve a bad beard or old footage, and Becky Lynch and Asuka will face off in a MITB Qualifying match.
We’ll be back and ready to kick WWE Raw Live Results into gear at the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Bianca Belair announced Rhea Ripley is hurt and won’t be able to compete at the MITB, then said there will be a fatal 5 way to determine her challenger.
After all five women talked their trash, we headed to commercial with the match next.
Segment 2
Number 1 Contenders Fatal 5 Way Match – Alexa Bliss vs. Liv Morgan vs. Asuka vs. Becky Lynch, vs. Carmella
Lynch and Asuka went after each other right away, leaving the others to compete, and Carmella shoved Morgan off the top rope to the floor where she took out Lynch, Asuka, and Bliss as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
Carmella nailed Morgan with a superkick to get the win to face Belair. This was an awesome match. Maybe the WWE will finally start letting their women’s division wrestle longer matches?
Segment 4
Vince McMahon came out and announced John Cena will appear on Raw next week.
Segment 5
Riddle cut basically the same promo has the last few weeks with his loss to Roman Reigns thrown in and how he let everyone down. He promised to win MITB and end Reigns’ reign when Omos and MVP came out.
They really need to have Riddle talk less.
Segment 6
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Riddle vs. Omos w/MVP
Riddle put in a good effort, but Omos dominated him and finished it with a chokeslam.
Seth Rollins came out and mocked Riddle, saying he’s the only one capable of defeated Reigns. When Riddle went after him, Rollins hit a Stomp.
Segment 7
Theory mocked Bobby Lashley and did his own pose down. Lashley appeared behind him in the ring, sprayed Theory in the eyes with water and hit him with a spear that sent Theory to the floor.
Segment 8
Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso vs. Angelo Dawkins w/Montez Ford
Dawkins went after Jey off the bat, but Jey sent him to the floor and hit a dive, then sent him into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Ezekiel and Elias met backstage and had a good talk about Ezekiel living his dream and Elias being a changed man.
Segment 9
Elias attempted to have a concert, but Kevin Owens came out to confront him. Ezekiel appeared on the titantron to prove to Owens they’re not the same person, and after Owens threw Elias’ guitar out of the ring, Elias dropped him with a knee and hit him with a chair.
Backstage, Ezekiel accepted Owens’ match for next week, and it broke Owens.
Segment 10
Gauntlet Match – Bobby Lashley vs. Chad Gable w/Otis
Gable put up a good fight, but Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock for the win, and Otis attacked him from behind.
He threw Lashley into the barricade and ring post, then hit a splash on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
Gauntlet Match – Bobby Lashley vs. Otis w/Chad Gable
Lashley hit a spear and went for th epin, but Gable hit Lashley for the DQ. They then double teamed Lashley as Theory came out.
Lashley countered his finisher and rolled Theory up for the win to get his US title shot at MITB.
Segment 12
MIZ TV
The Miz tried to antagonize AJ Styles, and Styles gave as good as he got until he clocked the Miz. Ciampa then hit Styles from behind to send him to the floor. Do we smell a match up next?
Segment 13
AJ Styles vs. Ciampa
This was a good match Styles won with a Phenomenal Forearm, and when Miz attacked him after the match, Styles took him out with a Styles Clash.
Segment 14
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Becky Lynch vs. Asuka
They started fast when Lynch attacked Asuka on the ramp during her entrance, and they didn’t let up as Lynch knocked her off the top rope to the floor as we headed to the floor.
Segment 15
This was another great match that went back and forth before Asuka nailed Lynch with a roundhouse kick for the win.
Lynch lost it afterwards and tore about the announce desk before slumping against the ring to cry.
There were a couple of great moments tonight, but the overall feel was sluggish at best until the last hour. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results.
We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.
See you then!
