It is a well-known fact that Tammy Slaton had an emergency, was rushed to the hospital and left  with a trach on her neck. Nothing has been heard of Tammy recently. She was away for a while and some fans thought she had died. However, the death rumors were squashed when she posted some of videos on Tiktok, and to the amazement of many, she still has her trach on. Redditors have been curious to know when it will be removed. A redditor asked “How long has she had the trach tube for? And when will it be removed?

These were recently on her Snapchat story” while another fan said “she got it before thanksgiving last year and kept insisting it was just temporary but yikes that was 8 months ago.” A fan pointed out that the trach looks as though she’s still living in the rehab which is probably why is still clean and not dirty with infection. It was said that she would be leaving the rehab at the end of her surgery but at the moment, she’s still living there. Hopefully, her trach will be removed at the end of the summer.

Fans are looking out for her, they know it is not easy. A fan that has once been in the situation confirmed “Living with a trach sucks, Granted mine was two years ago and temporary but I still remember how much it fucking sucked” When asked about her weight loss journey, she made it known that she can’t comment about it because of her contract with TLC, but it was said that there hasn’t been a visible difference in her weight even in the rehab in order to proceed for bariatric surgery.

The surgery couldn’t hold in June and was rescheduled to the end of July due to some unforeseen circumstances. Fans are anxious to see the surgery is been carried out, so she could live a normal life.
