Based on a sneak peek at an upcoming January 31 episode of 1000-Lb Sisters shared by E! News, Tammy Slaton is having a tough time on her weight loss journey. She discuss it openly during her confessional. The reality show star admits on air, “Gaining weight, it’s hard.”
Tammy said, “I don’t want to disappoint my family or myself. But I’m human, so of course there’s going to be days where I don’t feel like dieting. I get cravings. I want drinks, like sodas, and don’t want to work out.” In last week’s season premiere, the veteran TLC personality weighed a whopping 717 pounds.
Tammy Slaton Blows Up at Her Therapist During New Episode
She goes on to explain that this downward spiral is coming at the wrong time because she is currently in the middle of virtual therapy sessions that she must complete to be approved for gastric bypass surgery. “I’m not really looking forward to the session,” Tammy admits in the video.
“I don’t like therapists.” “I know my therapy is important, but it’s been a rough week,”, Tammy says in the confessional from which the preview is taken. “I gained 10 pounds, [sister Amy’s dog] Little Bit passed away. I’m really not in the mood to talk to anybody.”
Tammy needs to meet with this physician before she can undergo a potentially life-altering operation. (Please keep in mind that this episode was shot several months ago. Tammy has done the procedure, and the results have been phenomenal.) Dr Stapleton, unfazed by her reserved patient, presses on with the episode, asking Tammy, “What is your day-to-day like, while you’re there?” Tammy responded angrily, “It’s the same damn thing every day!” “What happened to that talkative Tammy from last time?” Immediately, Dr Stapleton chimes in. “Not visiting today, huh?”
However, Tammy did get the treatment, as described above, and there seems to be an upside to her time in the facility.
