The Acclaimed & The Ass Boys had a falling out recently, which led to Billy Gunn siding with The Acclaimed instead. They’d seem to bury the hatchet – but on the way to the ring, Austin Gunn stole the microphone of Caster to interrupt the rap. They need to get on the same page however, as they’re booked for an eight man tag tonight.
The Assclaimed Boys EXPLODE
Ruffin It and Fuego Del Sol would be the opponents for the eight man tag team match, with Fuego starting. A flapjack and lariat would follow, before Bowens tagged into the match. Fuego would nail the Tornado DDT and tagged in Bear Bronson, who would run down all four opponents.
Bronson nailed the chokebomb in the ring, before Caster made the save. Colton would make the tag, and Bowens would hit the leg drop bulldog. Caster was called to hit the Mic Drop, but Austin tagged in and stole the glory of the pinfall.
After the match, Austin & Colton would beat down The Acclaimed – before their legendary father would side with them after nailing a lariat on Caster. A fame asser on Bowens would follow, and it’s clear this issue is just heating up.
How Can You Stop A Team Like Thunder Storm?
Last week on AEW Rampage, Toni Storm was able to overcome the challenge of former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose. However, after the bell – the fight kept going. Storm was attacked from behind by both Rose and her new friend Marina Shafir, who seemed keen on injuring Storm. It was Thunder Rosa who made the save – and now tonight, we have a tag team match on AEW Dynamite, as Rose & Shafir face down a Thunder Storm.
Rose & Shafir hit the ring with umbrellas, they were ready for the storm. Shafir would start the match alongside Storm, and was taken down with a headscissor and nailed with a dropkick. Rosa would hit a dropkick of her own, getting a two count. A snapmare and kick to the spine would just make Shafir smile, before she’d look to apply a kimura lock.
Storm would hit the hip attack, before Rosa nailed some hard strikes to the chest. Shafir would fight back with some hard strikes, before Rose hit Storm in the back with an umbrella. Rose got the tag and hit a brainbuster, before Shafir hit the single arm throw. Storm would take a double stomp to the midsection, before a slam from Rose.
Rosa got the tag and would start to beat down Rose, hitting a drop toehold to send Rose throat first into the middle rope before a running dropkick. Shafir hit the ring for a pumphandle suplex, before a German Suplex landed from Storm. Fire Thunder Driver landed – and Thunder Storm win!
