Over the past few years, few characters in professional wrestling have captured the imagination of fans like Bray Wyatt and The Fiend. He’d even be able to help to add a new ripple to the character of Alexa Bliss, after she’d join up with him to form her own new dark persona. Wyatt has since been released from WWE, and Bliss has mostly moved away from this persona – but Wyatt gave some advice before she left.
Bray Wyatt Urged Alexa Bliss To ‘Keep It Going’
During an interview with Metro UK, Alexa Bliss would have a chance to share the parting words of Wyatt – and explained just how it was to work alongside Wyatt.
“Before he left, he just said, “Keep it alive, keep it going”, so I took that to heart and tried to keep it alive and going. If he ever did return, a hundred percent I’d want to work with him.
Everyone wanted to work with Windham, he’s just so good and so creatively genius. He put so much effort into his craft, and for me it was, how do I create something alongside him without lowering his integrity, lowering his character, lowering his stuff?
Because you have to try to rise to the occasion instead of bringing the other person down to match your level I really tried in that sense to at least do his character justice… He’s the best!”
Will He Ever Return To WWE?
As of the time of writing, Wyatt has not yet returned to the ring for any promotion. There’s been rumors of AEW debuts, WWE returns and more, but nothing solid that was actually followed up with. Wyatt was spotted working alongside a film crew, with a potential horror movie in the works.
His future in wrestling as a whole remains unclear. Only WWE really has the production values to bring his big ideas to life, but it’s hard to follow your own creative vision in a company like WWE which is incredibly micromanaged at the best of time.
