‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies.
There’s plenty going on in Genoa City, including what looks like a murder or attempted murder mystery, and it should get pretty interesting as it continues to be uncovered.
It shows the show runners do listen to the fans, who have been begging for some kind of drama or action. We finally got some of both, and it’s going to be fun watching it play out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 27: Victoria’s finally got the attention
Now that Newman Enterprises is safe, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is enjoying being the apple of her father’s eye, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is all set to do what he has to to keep her safe.
In this case, it looks like he took care of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), whether he’s dead or not is still in question.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is sure Victor had a hand in Ashland’s disappearance, and now that Victor more or less controls the police, there’s nothing standing in his way.
Nick’s going to want to know what hand Victor played in Ashland disappearing, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expects Victor to react in a quiet, then bombastic way when Nick keeps pushing him.
Victor will declare that Victoria is his priority, and he’ll take care of things to ensure she’s protected. While this won’t answer Nick’s concerns, it’ll give him the chance to reevaluate his coming back under Victor’s influence.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 27: Clean slate
Reeling from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s confusing back and forth, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is going to start trying to prove herself to Adam.
To do that, she’s going to ask him for a fresh start without Newman Enterprises lurking over his shadow. He’ll resist, but we think she’ll wear him down to the point he’ll give in and they’ll start over.
Of course, there’s always the possibility he’ll make her work harder than this, and she may end up quitting her job to prove to him it’s not important.
If she goes that far, it may be to her detriment as he could see her as brushing aside his sacrifice to help her. Though to be fair, her willingness to cut ties with the Newmans as well should prove how she feels.
It’s definitely not going to be easy for anyone in the coming days.
