‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 5: Billy and Nick share questions
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s plan to destroy Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was a shock to many, though lazy writing saw to it Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) went from being his manipulative self to trusting her so we question how much of a shock it’ll be to him.

But for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), they’re going to have the biggest shock when they realize how little Victoria trusted them.
To be honest, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t blame her since Nick proved how trustworthy he is when he ran to Victor to share her and Ashland’s plan.
Because of that, they’re going to question their own choices but her keeping them out more than anything.
In an odd twist, we’re curious if Nick, Billy, and even Victor are on a list for her to go after at some point, though we suspect she’ll forgive Victor completely while holding a grudge toward Nick.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 5: Ashland readies his response
Since he fell for Victoria’s near perfect scheme, Ashland’s going to disappear for a while. Victoria and others may think he’s gone, but he’s going to be plotting his revenge.
What’s funny is Victoria made it sound like she took every cent he had, when it was just the money Victor gave him. Ashland’s still a billionaire unless she figured out how to drain all his assets while they were married.
Because of that, he’s going to be able to rearm and respond to Victoria’s action with one of his own.
This has so much potential as we could finally see the Locke Ness Monster we heard about since day one instead of the shadow of a force the writers have given us.
When it comes to drama, this show’s teasers have had more of it than the show the last couple of years, and this is a great opportunity for them to recapture some of that old magic after dropping the ball in Ashland and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s return.
