Some claims emerged in the limelight stating that the divorce between Sergey Brin and his wife is due to the fact that he ‘caught’ her ‘in bed’ with his buddy, Elon Musk.
A day after the emergence of the rumors Elon Musk took to Twitter to deny the claims and label them as total BS.
Elon states that he and Sergey are still close friends. There is no such thing as being in a bad relationship with him. He never did what the article claims he did. Furthermore, he claims that they are still so close that they were at a party together this weekend.

Musk says that he had met Brin’s wife on only two occasions, and more importantly with many people around. He denies having contact with her in four eyes. He publishes these claims on social media just after he read about the rumors.
“This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night.” – Musk says. “I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.”
The Wall Street Journal is the newsletter that got the news first. This is not the first rumor article by the Wall Street Journal that starts a line of other newsletters to follow and further spread the news. Previously there were several controversial articles that made the headlines after being premiered on the WSJ.
According to the Wall Street Journal Article, Musk had an affair with Nicole just around the time when she was in the middle of the process of divorcing his friend. Allegedly, he was visiting her home on several occasions, reportedly at times when Brin was not at home.
A series of articles start due to this and rumors evolve. From the actual adultery until stating that Musk had kneeled before Brin asking him to forgive him. All this is because Brin has considerable investments in Tesla. The article states that Brin had also requested for liquidation of all his investments in Musk’s companies.
While it is still not unveiled if the liquidation of the investments is true, the accusations of adultery received a direct demand by Elon.
Musk is in the limelight lately because of several controversies surrounding him. Another one is not what he needs at the moment. He has his hands full with projects about battling the inflation and recession in his companies. Furthermore, he has a trial with Twitter, the company he wanted to buy.
So does he need another putting in the limelight about something as being responsible for his friend’s divorce – most certainly not.
