Elon Musk says he has the honor to meet the pope and posts a photo on Twitter to break the Twitter silence. Once again he uses Twitter to announce this and puts an end to the rumors that he is gone for good.
In the photo, he is in the company of pope Francis and his four teenage sons. As expected, his remaining transgender child is missing from the photo, since she revealed that she wants to cut ties with her father for good. Recently, Xavier Musk revealed that he is transitioning to a woman and changed his name to exclude the surname Musk. As she says, she doesn’t want to have anything with him.
Elon Musk Took A Brake From Twitter To Meet The Pope
Musk didn’t reveal his purpose for the visit immediately. It was unclear how out of the blue Elon Musk decided to become so spiritual.
Minutes after the first post he is back to his initial routine of posting to the social media. He posted another photo of himself and his ex-wife in Venice, celebrating his 40th birthday. “Venice, a site of Great Remembrance.” – He says in the description.
This was the first action from the billionaire to the social media Twitter after his nine-day silence. Unusual as it is, around 100 million followers were questioning what is the reason behind his silence.
Even though he overbid the price for buying the company, he cannot back off now. He signed the contract at the mentioned price. He is in legal-binding negotiations to buy the social media for $44 billion since April. However, there were numerous complications along the way. The negotiations are still not reaching an end. According to the billionaire, just a ‘few unresolved matters’ need to be looked at, and the deal will go through. At the moment, he did not reveal what these matters are.
The main issue for taking over Twitter was the fake and spam bot accounts percentage. Twitter were claiming the number is no more than 5%, and Elon was asking for proof. Since they were refusing to provide it, of course, Elon thought that something smells funny.
In June, the social media finally accepted Elon’s request to look into the company’s raw data, and the takeover is now ongoing. However, no official statement from the billionaire emerges in the meantime to inform the public of the actual numbers.
Musk is the wealthiest man in the world at the moment, and as such he can afford himself to buy and takeover everything he sets his eyes on. His fortune is somewhere around $200 billion.
