Kanye West is expanding his business by getting into the retail and online shopping industry. The Grammy Award-winning artist has recently filed a trademark for “YZYSPLY” and it applies to everything from brick-and-mortar stores to online shopping.
Kanye West Files Trademark for YZYSPLY as He Dives into the Retail Business
The new business endeavor is an expansion of the existing Yeezy Supply where Ye was selling limited edition clothes. With that said, you’re probably thinking there’s not that much Kanye merch or Yeezy wear to warrant a whole store.
That’s why the trademark includes almost every piece of clothing you might need, so it’ll whatever Ye is planning for YZYSPLY, his team has thought of making sure it will be well-stocked. I don’t know if the leather kilt will be on YZYSPLY shelves but if his face masks can be on sale in GAP stores, I’d say expect the leather kilt.
It’s one thing to have an online store that sells just your merch, clothing and so on but I can see it being a little much to open physical stores with just your stuff. Of course, Kanye West is one of those musicians who attempt to have something for life after music whether it be investing in a music service or selling their own strain of marijuana, so it’s expected on many levels.
Will you hit up Kanye’s store if it’s near or in your city? Or is YZYSPLY a pass for you? Let us know down below.
