Meghan Markle has reportedly been bullied in the US by her neighbours with a nasty nickname.
Meghan Markle Being Bullied In US With Nasty Nickname ‘Princess Of Montecito’
The Duchess of Sussex has been a victim of bullying during her earlier years, something which she has spoken about.
Not only that, but with Buckingham Palace refusing to publish the findings of an inquiry looking into allegations of Meghan bullying Royal staff, speculation has emerged if Meghan had actually suffered such claims during her time with the Royals.
But in any event, it appears that things are not so rosy in the US. A source confirmed that Meghan was dubbed the “Princess of Montecito,” in reference to her residence in Santa Barbara.
Nicknames are something that are often associated with those connected to the Royal family. We have already seen this when it comes to Kate Middleton and Prince William.
The former was infamously called Waity Katie in reference to her alleged desperation at marrying William. Meanwhile, William has been referred to as ‘Big Willy’ by Middleton herself.
But aside from the nicknames, Meghan tries to keep a low profile when she is out and about. This fits in line with her and Harry’s decision to leave the Royal family as they wanted to live away from the media intrusion.
And they have managed to do just that, but it has not been easy. A source stated: “She’ll generally call ahead and request a table that is completely secluded.
“Some of her favourite places were off the beaten track and not all that well-known, like gourmet sushi joints in the Downtown area or authentic Mexican places in the area she grew up in.”
The fans on social media had a lot to say about Meghan’s apparent nickname. A certain subset felt this was a sign that she was struggling to adjust in the US with Harry.
One person wrote: “They mean she acts like a b*tch and thinks she is better than anyone else.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
