Meghan Markle has been lauded for coming to the aid of a woman in desperate need during her and Prince Harry’s appearance at the United Nations.
Meghan Markle Praised For Aiding Woman In Distress At The UN-‘Our Gal Never Misses A Beat, Will Help If Needed, It All Just Comes Natural’
Meghan, for her part, joined Harry as he delivered a key speech at the UN headquarters which touched upon many global issues, including poverty, climate change and Roe v Wade.
During the course of that process, however, a woman began coughing behind the couple as it became clear she was in distress. Meghan responded immediately by tending to the woman and offering her some water.
In the pictures here, we can see that the woman is grateful for the gesture as she takes some sips in order to deal with the problem. Once that was done, Meghan allegedly put the water immediately back into her bag, so that it was out of view.
That good deed did not go unnoticed. The fans on social media immediately came out in droves in order to praise the Duchess of Sussex.
One person wrote: “That’s our gal never misses a beat. Always aware of her surroundings and will help if needed,” while another person stated: “It all just comes natural to them.
“Looking after and looking out for each other, such an amazing couple.” This is not the first time that Meghan has been praised for reaching out to those in need.
Just recently, the nephew (John Martinez) of one of the victims (Irma Garcia) that had died in the Texas school shooting massacre praised Meghan after she reportedly reached out over the telephone.
And at a time where the family was in mourning, Meghan’s words came as a source of support. In his comments at the time, John remarked: “The way my mom just got off the phone with Meghan Markle.
“The Duchess, she’s so sweet and lovely, she really went out of her way to check on the family, it means so much.”
