Suzuki-gun & United Empire are here tonight, as they meet in a trios match. Lance Archer & Zack Sabre Jr. will need to keep an eye on TAKA Michinoku getting isolated, as the dominant trio of Aaron Henare, Great-O-Khan & Will Ospreay are their opponents here tonight. Henare is just coming off a match against ZSJ which saw him tapped out, and revenge could be in order.
Zack Sabre Jr. & Will Ospreay Make Some Magic, Henare Gets Submission Win
ZSJ & Ospreay would start this match, two old rivals who know each other like the back of their hands. They’d chain wrestle in the middle of the ring, with Ospreay trying to get some strikes in as ZSJ would flow into submissions. You don’t get better than their exchanges, and ZSJ would be driven into the corner and assaulted by Henare.
Archer would go after Ospreay, as ZSJ had his ankle tied up in the steel of the barricade. In the ring, Henare would keep the beating coming on ZSJ, before Great-O-Khan tagged in. Archer would get the tag and would grab the braid of Great-O-Khan, who grabbed Archer’s braid. A crossbody splash from Archer would drop him, before Ospreay hit a chop – and Archer told him he fucked up before pouncing him from the ring.
Great-O-Khan took Archer down, before TAKA & Henare hit the ring. It wasn’t long before Ultima was applied – and this one was over. Henare is a dangerous man with this hold, and could go deep in his first G1 Climax.
It Just Takes One Gun Stun
Kazuchika Okada & Jay White can only meet in a potential finals match this year in the G1 Climax, but tonight they meet in trios action. Add in Tama Tonga & David Finlay on the side of Okada, and Gedo & Juice Robinson on the side of White? You have a lot of intersecting feuds, from the breakup of FinJuice to White kicking Tama out from BULLET CLUB. It could become chaos quickly, but that’s something BULLET CLUB thrives in.
Tama would go right after White, Finlay after Robinson, and Okada after his old manager of Gedo. Okada would waste time, and Robinson & White. Finlay would help bring the fight back, and Tama whipped White into the barricade as Finlay went after Robinson. Robinson would get his revenge as White attacked the eyes of Okada.
In the ring, Robinson would slam Finlay before the jumping senton, before White applied the boston crab. Gedo would go after the eyes of Finlay, before choking him on the middle rope. Finlay would get some near falls on Robinson before a series of backdrop counters from both men.
Tama would take a DDT in the ring from White, before getting Gedo in the ring and nailing the GunStun for the instant victory. Will White suffer a GunStun when they meet later in the tournament? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
