Lisa Rinna has blasted ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ over failing to honour the death of her mother Lois DeAndrade Rinna.
RHOBH: Lisa Rinna Bashes Show For Not Commemorating Her Mother Following Her Death-‘I Got One Episode, That’s It’
Lois’ passing was recognised on the show for a single episode. And yet, that did not appear to be enough for Lisa who felt that this was a major sign of disrespect.
This is particularly true given that Lois passed away at the age of 93. Not only that, but Lois also managed to make some appearances on the show.
Therefore, she had become a part of the franchise even if she was not a mainstay member. With that being said, Lisa was not happy.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Lisa shared a picture of herself with her mother. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I got one episode of Grace, that’s it.” Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following factors.
First of all, the show is ultimately about providing entertainment to the public. As such, the producers may have felt that other storylines were able to achieve this better.
This may explain why there has been a lot of focus on Erika Jayne’s legal issues of late. Secondly, it is also important to remember that Lisa may have been better off keeping her grief away from the cameras.
This could be the reason why there was minimal exposure of her mother’s death on the show. The fans on social media, however, differed with Lisa.
People were of the view that Lois was not an integral member of the cast, which is why a solitary episode was enough. One person wrote: “At least she got that. I loved Lois, but she was not a cast member.”
While another person stated: “@lisarinna Get off your soapbox. Stop using your deceased mother for attention.” It is clearly a difficult time for Lisa, and she will need the support of her loved ones by her side.
