Recently, we’ve been seeing lots of back and forth between two of the greatest professional wrestlers in the world. Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay have been trading words online, with Omega calling out Ospreay for his low stakes five star matches, and Ospreay responding by using the One Winged Angel during a match in Rev Pro. However now, Ospreay has taken their issues to the next level.
Will Ospreay Wants To End Kenny Omega
During a recent interview with Fightful, Ospreay would talk about his issues with Kenny Omega – claiming the comments of Omega were belittling. He’d have the following to say about what he plans to do if he comes face of face with Omega.
”When you say something to me, look me in the eye, and speak to me, when you talk to me and tell me this and then go to fans and talk differently, that’s where we have a problem. You have my number, if we have a problem, call me and we can fucking talk about this. I don’t have anything to say to him. Be all, end all, I’m sure if everyone was in the same room, I would slap him. The worst thing is, people are gonna listen and be like, ‘They’re building to something.’ We’re not building up to anything. He’s a cunt. I will slap that boy and remind him, ‘You’re a fucking 40-year-old man and you’re fucking fragile. Do you really want to get with me? I will end you.'”
Right now, Will Ospreay is preparing to enter the field of the G1 Climax once again. He’s also the reigning IWGP United States Champion, despite Juice Robinson carrying the physical belt. They will meet on August 16th, in the final night of block action.
Kenny Omega meanwhile he not wrestled since 2021, when he lost the AEW World Championship to Hangman Page. Omega has been rehabbing a list of injuries, and is expected to return to the ring by 2023. It’s expect that Omega & Ospreay could meet in the main event a future Forbidden Door event – following the smash success of the recent NJPW vs. AEW PPV.
