Tonight, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro have a chance to prove their allegiance to Tony D’Angelo. They’ll be in the corner of D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, as they hit the ring for tag team action. D’Angelo has already made Two Dimes sleep with the fishes for disrespect, and Escobar was sent to the ER after laughing at the loss of D’Angelo to Carmelo Hayes.

Tony D’Angelo Wants His Grunts To Show Loyalty

Their opponents are Malik Blade & Edris Enofe, and Stacks would start with Enofe. A German Suplex was blocked, before Enofe nailed a massive dropkick, and some swift arm drags. Blade would get the tag and kept the pressure on with some double team offence. Stacks would hit a boot to the face of Stacks, and D’Angelo put the pressure on with some wild strikes.

Enofe would be locked into the cobra twist, but was able to break free. Blade got the tag, and got flapjacked into the corner before D’Angleo hit the twisting Fisherman Suplex for the win. After the bell, Wilde & Del Toro were told to keep the beating come, and they would follow the orders and hit the Russian Leg Sweep and running kick combo.

Mandy Rose Thought She Got The Night Off

Last week at The Great American Bash, the night started off rough for Toxic Attraction. Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade would claim the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships, breaking the gold rush of the faction. Tonight, Perez intended to cash in her title shot earned with winning the NXT Women’s Breakout tournament, but was beaten down in the parking lot.

Now, Rose doesn’t know if she will even have to defend tonight – but is coming to the ring all the same, and dressed to compete. She’d say Perez isn’t woman enough to step up and challenge Rose tonight, but she doesn’t blame her. No one can beat Rose, especially not Perez.

Cora Jade Screws Over Her Partner

Instead, the music of Cora Jade would hit – the tag partner of Perez. The crowd was promised a title match, and Jade is stepping up for this match. Perez would also step up, and was bandaged up and ready to fight. She’d jump onto Rose with a Thesz Press, before taking a punch to the ribs.

Perez would get caught into a Fallaway Slam, but would fire back with a shotgun dropkick. Rose would take Perez to the floor, and spear her into the apron. Back in the ring, an abdominal stretch would be applied, before Rose planted Perez with a spinebuster for a two count.

Perez managed a near fall with a sunset flip, but only got a two count. Rose would run into a knee strike, before Perez came off the top rope with a crossbody. Running back elbows would follow, before a russian leg sweep for a two count.

Rose would avoid Pop Rocks by rolling to the floor, but took the Suicide Dive. Perez would take down Toxic Attraction and hit Pop Rocks on the floor. She had to get Rose back in the ring, before Jade slammed her partner in the back with the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship! Running knee strike followed, and Rose remains champion

Why did Jade turn on her partner? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
