Guillermo resented Kara’s brash demeanor, and his epiphany left fans wondering if the couple was ever going to flourish.
In fact, Guillermo and Kara had a significant disagreement about money right from the start when he wanted to buy a computer so he could pass the time while she went to her work. Kara, however, claims that this laptop scene with Guillermo was entirely made up. An Instagram conversation between Kara and a 90 Day Fiancé fan concerning the alleged computer scenario was found by Reddit user u/ndiojukwu.
With a facepalm emoji, the fan said that Kara will “no longer need to argue over a laptop cost now,” possibly since Guillermo likely has a green card now that he’s been married to Kara for more than a year. The offended Kara remarked to the fan, “That was an argument the network wanted,” after viewing the remark. Kara claims that Guillermo has never desired a laptop. She replied and added, “Just fyi.”
During the scenario, Kara kept putting Guillermo’s desire to get a laptop down because of their financial situation. Due to visa constraints, Guillermo was unable to work in America for a while. He claimed that the reason they had money was that he had sold his possessions before moving to America.
Kara, however, had advised Guillermo to utilize her old computer rather than waste money on a new one. Fans weren’t happy about Guillermo being denied the opportunity to purchase what he wanted, especially considering the money was his. Kara also made fun of Guillermo by sneeringly declaring, “You never used a computer in your life.” Fans believed that Kara and Guillermo would end their relationship once 90 Day Fiancé season 9 ended for a variety of reasons.
This scenario was just one of them. However, they ended up being the first couple to wed on the show, and Kara’s pregnancy was made public at the Tell All. In November of this year, Kara and Guillermo are going to give birth to a child. Kara gave up her balloon-making business and now has a successful real estate career, and fans have yet to know what Guillermo does for a living in the United States.
