‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies.
Things are looking promising this episode as the self professed heroes will gain a win, but their actions will have a blowback they won’t be expecting.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 29: Getting the upper hand
For the first time since Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) returned to Genoa City, she’s going to be on the defensive as it looks like an article about her past is going to make the rounds.

Of course, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are going to enjoy this as they’ll finally turn the tables on her.
Their victory lap could be cut short thanks to a couple of potential problems.
The first being it’s Diane’s past and now all of her dirty laundry will be out there for all to see. It’ll most likely affect Marchetti and Jabot, which in turn will hurt Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
It’s going to make everyone look at the Abbotts and wonder why they’d hire her after what she did and the gossip hounds will be baying at the door for more.
Of course, there’s the chance it’ll be contained is only a few read it, but we doubt that’ll happen. ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers can’t wait for Nikki and Phyllis to deal with the blowback from this.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 29: Wanting answers
While this is going on, or maybe because of it, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is going to sit Jack down and give him the third degree about his feelings for Diane, what’s his plans for the future, how is he, and so on.
Jack won’t enjoy himself, but he’ll eventually answer all of her questions to the best of his ability, but we’re sensing there may be something more he’s feeling toward Diane than he’s been letting on.
Even if there’s not, the whole family will be worried about him as he’ll want to forgive and move on and they won’t want to see him get hurt.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 29: In the right direction
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) dropped a big chunk of news about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) onto Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s lap.
While there’s a definite chance Victoria will want Sally to turn Adam in or publish a piece about him falsifying police records to hurt Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
We think Sally won’t like that idea and neither will Nick, and he’ll direct her to talk to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to help Sally find a balance. Or Nick will be fully on board since Victor owns his soul after Nick once again lost his backbone and crawled back to him.
