‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like the fun’s going to continue as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s ego and pride will continue writing checks someone will have to cash, and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) doesn’t look like he’s going to back down any time soon.
To really made Victor twitch, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will throw a surprise offer in the form of a job at Jabot to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), offering a place where Victor’s games won’t be at work.
Let’s dig into the goodies!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 9: Who will blink first
Victor is great at chess and poker, but this time Chance is holding just about all of the cards. There’s a chance Victor will wiggle out of this, but it won’t be because Chance gave up or blinked.

In fact, Chance will stand firm as Victor dares him to prove hit theory/accusation. He knows Chance can’t as yet, but we think the pressure of the situation will eventually force Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to confess what he knows and that’ll blow things up for Victor.
But before that happens, the other Newmans will try to come to Victor’s aid by trying to find ways to pressure or convince Chance to drop his investigation.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think Victor will eventually come clean, but only when it’s to protect his children from his mistake. And then, maybe.
He’ll still probably get off the hook because why shouldn’t he be above the law, right?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 9: Jack’s surprise
There are a few things Adam felt sure he’d never see happen. His father be humble, not play games, and love his children unconditionally are probably among the top few for him, but Jack offering him a job at Jabot has to be up there as well.
It’ll be out of left field, but Jack’s shown he likes Adam and respects him when he’s not pulling one of his schemes.
Jack may also feel a kinship of sorts with him after the years he’s had to deal with Victor’s games, seeing Adam always the lowest of Victor’s pawns and randomly sacrifices will strike a chord with him.
For Adam, it’ll be a chance to work in a company where he’ll be judged on his merit instead of a family pecking order and it could give him a fresh start and help him finally find his path.
Plus, it’ll really stick in Victor’s craw and that’ll please Adam to no end.
Will Adam accept Jack’s offer? Let us know in the comments below and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
