There’s going to be tons of reveals in this episode, or at least attempts at reveals, and we’re stoked to see how things play out. Let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 16: Nikolas is in over his head
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers almost feel sorry for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), but considering pretty much all of his problems are due to his own actions and stupidity, we’re ready for him to pay for his mistakes.
And who better to exact payment than Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to help his nephew?
Victor’s offered to help Nikolas with his Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) problem before and now he’s going to demand to know everything Nikolas did to her.
We expect Nikolas to try to backtrack or pass over telling Victor she’s dead, but Victor has him dead to rights and will threaten to go to the police if Nikolas doesn’t tell him.
Nice stance after praising Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) for not naming names, namely Victor’s.
Perfect time for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to show up looking for Esme. We’re sure Nikolas will do something to get into deeper trouble. It’s just a matter on whether or not Victor wants to protect him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 16: Trina’s future
It’s taken a long time to get to this point, but we’re finally going to find out what verdict the jury will hand down to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Tabyana’s been rocking her scenes, and with another moment for her to shine, it looks like her moment may be stolen by bad writing.
For whatever reason, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will walk into the courtroom and demand the judge stop the proceedings immediately.
To be clear, it doesn’t matter what evidence Robert has or what he wants to do. At best, he should be held in contempt of court and any evidence he has can be added for the appeal.
We think letting Trina’s drama play out and then have a appeal would add so much more drama and fun to the show, but it looks like the writers are going with flash over substance to have Trina exonerated.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 16: Forcing him out
It’s unclear if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came to an actual agreement or not, but Drew’s going to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that he can get Valentin to give up ELQ if they take care of Victor.
To be fair, it’s possible that Valentin could be that desperate to have Victor removed so he can get his daughter back, but at the same time can he chance Victor doesn’t have a contingency plan for her in place?
This will be a interesting one to see play out, but we doubt Valentin will give up ELQ on the word of Drew or Michael, but stranger things have happened.
