It is no secret that Thomas has not been in very good health following his recent hospitaliaation and release following a stroke. It was alleged that Meghan had failed to reach out to her father, despite his condition being critical at the time.
This may explain why her name has not come up in this regard, but in any event, things are not looking good for Thomas senior. Previous history shows that such a thing can end up backfiring.
We had recently seen this with Britney’s 13-year conservatorship which was clouded by accusations of control and abuse.
Although there is nothing to suggest that such an arrangement cannot work, the fact of the matter is that this move could have implications with Thomas senior and Meghan’s relationship going forward.
Meghan’s father has made it very clear that he has attempted to reach out to his daughter, going so far as to say that his birthday gift for her 40th birthday was not acknowledged.
But if the conservatorship were put in place, there is no way of knowing whether Thomas senior would still be enthusiastic about trying to get a reconciliation.
It is not surprising that the fans on social media had a lot to say about this. In the process of doing so, they only saw this as having a negative outcome.
One person wrote: “Didn’t Brittney’s family rob her? Jr gonna be taking whatever Sr has,” while another person stated: “Jr is going to clean out everything!”
Time will tell if this does end up materialising. But based on what we have seen so far, in particular with what happened to Britney, it is fair to say that there is not a lot of enthusiasm for this.
