EVIL has had a rotten run in this years G1 Climax, dropping back to back matches to Tetsuya Naito & Hiroshi Tanahashi – but will look to right the ships path tonight. He’s facing the young Aaron Henare, who has been mainly looking to prove he belongs in the tournament, and turning in solid performances. EVIL has a very winnable match tonight, but needs to avoid getting into a striking battle with Henare – or he will risk being overwhelmed.

    EVIL Attacks Before The Bell

EVIL would jump Henare as the bell rang, throwing him from the ring. Henare would get back in, just to be attacked. Arm wrenches would follow, before Henare fought free and hit the springboard kick. EVIL would run him down shortly after, before choking Henare with a shirt.

Dick Togo would remove a corner pad out of the sight of the referee, before Henare was thrown right into the steel. Henare would block a suplex from the apron, but was launched off the apron and right into the timekeepers table. EVIL would follow with a Cobra Twist on the floor, with Dick Togo providing some extra leverage.

Henare showed his power, breaking the hold and hitting a double hip toss. EVIL was whipped hard into the barricade, and would flip over it after impact. Ultima would be nearly applied in the ring, but EVIL blocked before being dropped with a chest kick.

The Referee Makes A Crucial Error

Jumping senton would land, but Henare only got a two count. EVIL would hit the Fisherman Buster, getting a two count. Darkness Falls would follow, but again Henare kicked out. Streets Of Rage was set, but Dick Togo ran the distraction. EVIL was shoved into Togo, before the Skull Kick would land.

Ultima was applied, and EVIL grabbed the referee. The referee would accidently touch Henare instead, and would be taken out. Togo grabbed a steel chair, and EVIL threw it at his skull. STO would land – and EVIL moves to four points. He’s got a max total of eight points, and Henare is eliminated.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
