That is according to Royal expert Phil Dampier. The couple are set to attend two events: ‘One Young World Summit’ and the ‘WellChildAwards.’ But the chances of the pair visiting the Queen in Balmoral are slim.
The monarch is currently there as part of her annual summer retreat, but based on Harry and Meghan’s recent conduct of late, the relations have gotten worse. Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast was critical of the Royal Family.
This was seen when the Duchess of Sussex expressed dissatisfaction at having to attend a royal engagement after an alleged incident of a fire that had occurred in Archie’s room.
Not only that, but as Markle referred to the housing that she was staying in during her royal South African tour as a ‘housing unit,’ Meghan ended up generating further backlash.
With that being said, it is unlikely that the two will meet up with the Queen. In his comments, Phil said: “[I would be] very surprised. [A] visit to Scotland would create awkward family tensions for everyone.”

Nevertheless, there is an argument that the couple should make a visit for the following reasons. First of all, reports have emerged that there are concerns over the monarch’s mobility.
And given that she is not getting any younger, coupled with the fact that her health has deteriorated of late, a visit could be a boost.
Secondly, as the pair had reportedly only seen the Queen for 15 minutes during the Platinum Jubilee, a visit could give them the chance for a proper meeting.
The fans on social media were equally pessimistic about the prospect of a meeting. A certain subset of people felt there was too much water under the bridge.
