Prince William allegedly skipped lunch with Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II after he realised that his brother would be leaving the Royal Family with Meghan Markle.
SELFISH Prince William Skipped Last Dinner With Harry And The Queen-‘Angry William Was About,’ Says Royal Expert Katie Nicholls
That is according to royal expert Katie Nicholls. It is alleged that when Harry and Meghan Markle made the decision to leave the Royal Family, a crisis meeting was held in order to determine how the institution would proceed going forward.
And as part of that process, the monarch had apparently organized a lunch in order to smooth things over for the eventual outcome. But rather than support his brother’s decision, William was outraged by Harry and Megxit.
So much so that he decided to miss the lunch out of anger. In her comments, Katie said: “By all accounts, William didn’t arrive until the meeting was just about to start, which was after the lunch, and Harry took lunch with the Queen alone.
“I think that’s a very clear indicator as to just how angry William was about it.” One of the primary reasons why the Duke of Cambridge was outraged seems to be based upon his failure to understand Harry’s reasoning.

After all, Harry was walking away from his duties, something which he had committed himself towards for so long. And as that was ultimately being done for another woman in part, this did not sit very well with William.
Katie’s following comments confirmed as much: “William just couldn’t understand that Harry was essentially turning his back on the duty that he was born into.
“And Harry couldn’t understand that he wasn’t being able to forge ahead with a different way of being the spare.”
The fans on social media blasted William for his lack of respect towards his brother. And in the process of doing so, the comments towards William were brutal.
One person wrote: “Grown man cries because he can’t control is younger brother anymore,” while another person stated: “Dummy out time.”
