According to reports, Kate and Roger are working together on a project that is designed to raise some funds for children who have been disadvantaged.
It is claimed that the money will go towards the ‘Action for Children’ and the LTA foundation. Such an initiative should be applauded since the pair’s influence will no doubt draw people’s attention to such a good cause.
The event is set to go ahead at the ‘The Laver Cup Open Practice Day’ at The O2 on Thursday, September 22nd. Federer will also be joined by other stars, including Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Steve Zacks, who happens to be the CEO of the Laver Cup, confirmed the huge demand for the event: “Tickets to all five sessions of the Laver Cup are sold out and the demand to attend this year’s event is unending given the unprecedented line up of players.”
But outside of that, it seems that Kate and Roger are on good terms too. It is alleged that the Duchess of Cambridge had arranged for Roger to give her son, Prince George, a tennis lesson when he was just five-years-old.
It is not surprising, then, that the fans on social media were excited about the prospect of this match up. A certain subset of people praised Kate for the act of giving back to the community in this manner.
Meanwhile, others dreamt at the prospect of the pair being romantically involved. One person wrote: “So excited for this.
