Right now, the winds of change are blowing within WWE. The retirement of Vince McMahon and Triple H rising up to run WWE on the creative side has fans more optimistic about WWE’s future. Triple H has already made some moves to bring back some names to the company, with both Dakota Kai & Karrion Kross brought back to the roster. However, one name doesn’t need to be brought back to be salvaged – and Dominik Dijakovic A.K.A T-Bar could be in line for some big chances.
Dominik Dijakovic Had A Slow Start To His WWE Career
Signed to WWE back in 2017, the former Ring of Honor star would make an impact as part of the NXT roster. He’d have some breathtaking matches with Keith Lee, and would even challenge for the NXT & North American Championships when Lee held both titles. However, he would fail to capture gold in NXT – before being called up to the WWE main roster in 2020.
Renamed T-Bar, he was part of the ill-fated Retribution faction, and remains the only member of the group to keep their changed ring name past the factions split. Despite some strong performances on Monday Night RAW against Damien Priest, he’d fail to capture the attention of Vince McMahon, and ultimately would be relegated to Main Event.
Set To Be Repackaged By Triple H
However, now with Triple H back in charge – Dijakovic is potentially someone who is set to rise again. Alongside the likes of Tommaso Ciampa & Mustafa Ali, Dijakovic is in line for a push in WWE now. It wouldn’t be hard for him to get over with WWE fans, as showing people a 6’7” man capable of high flying would be an easy way to win over younger fans.
Reports indicate that Dijakovic is set to be repackaged, which could be as simple as taking him away from the T-Bar name, or could mean a whole new character. With Roman Reigns & Karrion Kross set to be the Top 2 heels, and WWE having a lack of babyface talent on their roster – Dijakovic would well become a potential top babyface name, or a midcard heel. All we know right now is that he’s hungry for a chance, in the best shape of his career – and his future looks bright.
