Since Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata did not feature in the current 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7, fans have been more curious about their relationship status.
Fans met the duo on 90 Day Fiancé season 6 when Kalani traveled to Samoa and met Asuelu, a staff at the resort she was staying. Shortly after their romance started, she fell pregnant, and by the time she gave birth, Asuelu was still in his home country. Asuelu eventually came to America on a K-1 visa, and they got pregnant again before their wedding.

They welcomed their second child and went on to feature on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 and 7, which followed their married life closely. Viewers saw all the tensions they had regarding Asuelu’s demanding family, and his failure to be a good husband and father, with Kalani, contemplating divorce. When Asuelu had an scary car accident, the couple agreed to make their marriage work.
However, during a March 90 Day Diaries episode, Kalani confessed to being at a “breaking point” because her husband didn’t even try to save the relationship or put efforts in raising their children. After the episode, Asuelu unfollowed and blocked Kalani and her sister Kolini Faagata on Instagram. In May, when fans asked if they were still together, Kalani said, “I’ll explain at the end of the month.”
It was Asuelu who eventually addressed the divorce rumors via Instagram by sharing a throwback video of them with the caption, “She don’t wanna join my live she doesn’t want film tiktok with with me.” He said that she was now “different” even though he gave her and the boys everything they needed. He then said that he couldn’t say much because he is “under the contract” and his “life is under control.”
The father of two said he wanted his own space but Kalani said no and entirely refused to communicate with him. He then added, “Hopefully we sell this house very soon so I can go back to work,” InTouch reported that their Washington, Utah, home, which Kalani and father bought in June 2018, was placed for sale in May. The mother of two wrote on Instagram “Please someone buy my house so I can move back to California.”
In June, Asuelu said that he’s “single” in an IG video, and in July, he sent a fan his middle fingers when they asked if he and Kalani have split or are faking it for clout. Kalani and her sister, Kolini currently stars in Pillow Talk. Her Instagram feed still features photos of her and Asuelu. Asuelu also hasn’t deleted any of the old dancing videos of them.
Fans recently spotted the father of two cheering for Manu Samoa at the HSBC Rugby Sevens tournament in Los Angeles and that same weekend, his sister-in-law, Kolini got engaged to her mystery man in California. So it appears that they are Asuelu and Kalani are still together.
