The couple had arrived in order to attend two charitable events at the ‘One Young World Summit’ and the ‘Well Child Awards.’
And they had ultimately arrived after generating a lot of backlash following Meghan’s controversial interview with ‘The Cut’ that coincided on the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
But things have been made worse following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. And yet, since the couple continue to hold their royal titles, they are still able to command an element of influence.
But when Joan was asked what she thought about the ‘other Duchesses,’ she brutally shaded the couple by pretending to not know who they were. She stated: “Who could that be? I have no idea. Do we need to give any of them more oxygen?”

The importance of the royal title, though, was shown as Meghan was introduced as the ‘Duchess of Sussex’ during her speech at the ‘One Young World Summit.’
In addition, the headline for her interview on ‘The Cut’ referred to her in the same manner after claims that she had allegedly been mentioned as the ‘Duchess of Montecito’ initially.
Not only that, but there are increasing calls for her and Harry to have their royal titles stripped with an increasing number of petitions being signed online.
With that being said, the fans on social media resonated with what Joan had to say. This was primarily on the basis that the couple had left the Royal Family on the basis that they wanted to avoid the press intrusion.
And yet, their actions have only gone on to increase the publicity surrounding them. One person wrote: “Spot on Joan we are absolutely sick to death of the pair of them.”
