Jake Paul continues to needle UFC president Dana White ahead of his next boxing match. Paul is set to clash with former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, and at a recent press conference, Paul offered Dana White an enormous bet.
“Dana White did not think I would take this fight. Dana, I know you’re watching, you still owe me a million dollars from when you bet against me on Ben Askren. I want you to come out of hiding, stop being a b**** and make a bet against me and Anderson and actually pay up this time. Cause you didn’t think I would take this fight.
Jake Paul Challenges Dana White to $5 Million Bet
Let’s make a bet. Let’s put a million, $2 million, let’s put $5 million on it. I bet you won’t Dana, cause you’re a b****.”
Dana White was recently asked about Paul’s boxing career, to which he replied: “I don’t give a s*** what Jake Paul does. I know you love this s***, but c’mon, this guy has nothing to do with my business. He doesn’t fight for me, he’s not even in the same f****** sport as me. I don’t want to talk about him anymore. I don’t care.”
Jake Paul was unusually polite when faced with Anderson Silva, one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. Jake Paul isn’t nicknamed the “Problem Child” of boxing for nothing. His brash, trash-talking persona was on full display for his fights against Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, but with a bout against UFC legend Anderson Silva around the corner, Paul is being decidedly more respectful.
“It all has to do with my previous opponents all being d***heads. Anderson Silva is the nicest guy in the world and we love him. If my opponent is a d***head, I’m going to treat him like a d***head and beat his f****** ass and I think people have seen that side of me.
But I respect this man. I’m still going to knock him out but respectfully knock him out.” Paul also offered his opinion on the animosity-fuelled relationship he bears with the combat sports community.
“I don’t give a f***. I played [UFC fans] like a fiddle. Got them watching, got them intrigued and now they’re in my hip pocket. I’m winning at my own game and they’re all part of a major plan.”
Should Dana White bet $5 million on Anderson Silva to defeat Jake Paul? Let us know in the comments.
