Everyone who watches the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast is aware that the host, Joe Rogan is prone to ‘believing’ in conspiracy theories. The theory of living in a real-time computer simulation is one of them. Having that in mind, he reacted beautifully to Nate Diaz’s win at UFC 279 with the clock showing exactly 2:09 left from the 4th round.
Back in 2018, Joe Rogan had Elon Musk on the podcast and talked about this for the first time. Ever since he kept this topic in his conversation arsenal, so whenever he had a chance to bring it up. So when something as incredibly well-timed as the UFC279 main event submission happens, there is no doubt that Joe Rogan would bring this up.
Joe Rogan Doubles Down On The ‘We Are Living In A Simulation’ Claim After Nate Diaz Won With 209 On The Clock
After the UFC 279 event, Nate Diaz finally broke out of the UFC contract and he is a free man. He defeated Tony Ferguson, a long-time UFC fighter via a guillotine choke in the fourth round.
What Nate and his brother Nick Diaz are known for is their alias ‘Stockton brothers’. Nate even uses the area code 209 in his signature. Since this number has a connection with Nate, it’s interesting to see the fight stop at exactly 2:09 on the clock.
Joe Rogan went on Instagram to express his amazement with this fact. He doubled down on the conspiracy that the world is indeed a big simulation.
“I’m starting to think that maybe we really are in a simulation. Holy sh**.” – Joe Rogan wrote below the photo of Nate submitting Ferguson at the UFC 279.
This concept of ‘living in a computer simulation’ has been floating around amongst physicists for a long time. They even have some ‘proofs’ that might sound convincing. We have already found the Planck-length, corresponding to pixels, and there is no proof we are not in a simulation. Why are there strict rules in our universe? We can embed computer code into DNA. All of the above are ‘proofs’ of living in a simulation.
“If you assume any rate of improvement at all then games will be indistinguishable from reality or civilization will end. One of those two things will occur. Therefore, we are most likely in a simulation. As we know, the universe will dissipate into a fine mist of cold nothingness eventually. So I think it’s really about how we can make it last longer.” – Rogan said.
In a simulation, or not, the fact that Nate Diaz exited the UFC in such a ‘tough guy’ manner is incredible. He proved his skills once more and proved why he is still one of the greatest fighters in the MMA world.
