Kody Brown Talks About His Relationship With Christine
When the previous season of Sister Wives ended, Christine kicked Kody out of her space. The patriarch’s biggest issue was Christine telling everyone that she was tired of their relationship. Now, the new season will show how everything actually went down between the couple. Viewers will also watch Kody’s attempt to figure out how to make Christine stay.
Kody Brown Says Christine Hated Polygamy
However, his anger spirals out of control. TLC shared a post to Instagram that showed the duo talking, and Christine tries to explain to her husband that she has tried everything that she can. Kody feels that he has had his heart broken as he feels that he has fallen victim to his third wife’s constant complaints and hatred for their plural family.
Christine’s hatred for polygamy was one of their biggest issues, and then, there is reduced intimacy. Whenever the third sister wife had an issue with polygamy, she felt that their husband just disregarded her. Christine just wanted Kody to listen and talk her off of the ledge, but he couldn’t, and this led to more problems for her.
Kody has said that he wants Christine and the other wives to have a good relationship. Fans know that he and his first wife, Meri barely talk. However, Janelle and Christine are very close, that the duo even snuck off to hang out during the pandemic, against their husband’s wishes.
Yet, he said that Christine was somewhat distant from his last and favorite wife, Robyn’s five children when it comes to mothering. To be fair, Christine tried get Ysabel to visit, but Kody preferred a nanny. It seems the plural family is really at a breaking point and so much needs to be rectified for it to keep it together even with Christine gone.
