That is according to royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti. It is no secret that Meghan Markle has been more outspoken ever since she left the firm. This has been seen with her Oprah Winfrey interview, as well as the one with ‘The Cut.’
The latter interview was quite damning as Meghan made it very clear that she had not signed a non-disclosure agreement during her time in the Royal Family. Therefore, the implication was that she was able to say what she wanted.
In addition, The Duchess of Sussex expanded on how she had been keeping a journal during her time in the royals. As such, there was inadvertently a suggestion that Meghan could come out with a book at some point in the future.
And that has made Meghan particularly dangerous. In his comments, Jonathon said: “I think now that they [Sussexes] have left as working royals and have left the country, they obviously have much less control over them.
“And so to the Royal Family, at least Meghan may be a loose cannon because she is somebody that will respect the rules and requests and preferences of the Royal Family only as far as she feels she should.”
Naturally, this may explain why relations between the Sussexes and the royals are at an all-time low. After all, if there are reservations that things could get leaked to the press, then that is hardly going to make Harry and Meghan more endearing to the firm.
The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter. A certain subset of people compared this to how Princess Diana must have been feeling, who was equally outspoken in nature.
One person wrote: “Funny they said the same thing about Princess Diana. Same abuse!” It is fair to say Meghan will do what she thinks is best regardless of what others have to say.
