‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re set for plenty of emotions to fly in this episode, and we’ve got the spoilery goodies to prove it.
We’re going to get a nice pause in the non-stop action to take a breath and truly say goodbye to Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller), though is anyone ever really gone in Salem?
Still, we expect plenty of emotion and will have some comfort food handy just in case. Let’s get into the spoilers.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 29: Chad finally says goodbye
It’s been a long time in coming, but Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will finally be a peace enough to let Abigail go, and this will get especially touching and emotional when she appears and talks with him about it.
It’s a nice ending to her murder mystery, and we’re still hoping for some clarification on why she told him they attacked her and why Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) left the mansion and had the steak knife in his bag with her jewelry and didn’t leave it behind.
We doubt we’ll ever get the answers to those questions since they’ll involve lazy writing, hectic rewrites, and so on. But now we can move forward to Chad and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) being charged with attempted murder.
But again, we doubt that’ll happen. All Clyde Weston (James Read) has to do is claim his confession came while being threatened and then he fought for his life, which isn’t a lie.
A little tweaking by Clyde on the attempted strangling and Chad and EJ would face and probably be convicted of stalking, brandishing a firearm, and attempted murder. But this is Salem, so we doubt any of that will happen.
Speaking of EJ, it appears he’s going to take this moment of newfound clarity and feeling of family to extend an olive branch to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 29: An offer
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers think EJ’s going to understand how precious family is and extend an offer to Johnny and Ava to return to the DiMera mansion with no strings attached.
This will be good news for Johnny since he’s going to be wearing out his welcome with Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
We have no doubt that Allie will have had enough of him being underfoot and living off them for a few days and she’ll be ready to kick him out.
So, in a way EJ’s offer may be coming at the perfect time. Assuming Allie doesn’t remove a body part or gallon of blood before it’s all said and done.
Of course, whether or not Ava returns with him is another story.
