According to a report, the rapper was set to take to the stage on Saturday, 24th September 2022 in Boston. During the course of that process, it is claimed that he pulled out 30 minutes prior to the show actually beginning.
It is suggested that he began to experience some pain in his body which required hospital treatment. So once that became clear, Malone was devastated for his fans.
In a post to his fans on social media, he said: “I woke up to a cracking sounds on the right side of my body…I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move.
“We’re in the hospital now, but with this pain, I can’t do the show tonight. I’m so f**king sorry.” This begs the question: what could have caused the pain?
Well, the star did suffer from a fall during one of his performances in St. Louis last week. That is where Malone fell down a hole on stage, which resulted in him getting medical treatment.
While there was nothing life-threatening, he did have to go to hospital to get treated. Regardless of the cause, it has left Malone determined to get back to the stage as soon as possible for the sake of his fans.
His following comments confirmed as much: “Once again, I’m so f**king sorry. I love y’all so much. I feel terrible, but I promise I’m going to make this up to you. I love you Boston, I’ll see you soon…I’m so sorry. – Love Austy.”
The fans on social media were understandably concerned for the star. And they wished him the best in making a full recovery as soon as possible, so that they could see him once again. One person wrote: “Get well Post.”
