There is no denying that the revelations in the ‘Archetypes’ podcast and ‘The Cut’ have increased publicity surrounding them. But given that this is being done while they hold the titles has been called into question.
This is on the grounds that they are being heavily critical of the same institution that had given them the title in the first place.
Therefore, if Harry and Meghan wanted to continue being outspoken, then it would make sense to remove the titles since their words would no longer be associated with the monarchy.
With that being said, Duncan felt it was only a matter of time before the Queen intervened. In his comments, he said: “It is now, I think, almost inevitable that the Queen has no more choice but to say ‘enough is enough Harry and Meghan’.

“Good luck in your new life but we have to take this away’.” Nevertheless, these comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt for the following reasons.
First of all, it is claimed that an act of parliament will be required in order to make this happen. As such, it cannot be done unilaterally by the monarch.
Secondly, given that there are other matters which are more pressing such as the rise in cost of living, perhaps this is not seen as a priority. And yet, that has not stopped people from starting petitions online to make it happen.
