Former ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ Bethenny Frankel has bashed Meghan Markle for being a bad businesswoman.

Her comments centre around how Meghan has rebranded herself in the aftermath of Megxit following her and Prince Harry’s departure from the Royal Family in 2020.
This has been followed up by a series of controversial interviews including with Oprah Winfrey and with ‘The Cut.’
And given that she still utilises the ‘Duchess of Sussex’ title, which was ultimately given to her following her wedding with Harry, Bethenny has questioned her moves since public opinion in the UK and United States has now turned against her.
This is particulary since Queen Elizabeth II has passed way following Meghan’s bombshells. In a post to her fans on TikTok, Bethenny said: “She is a terrible, terrible businessperson, strategist.
“She’s playing checkers, not chess — because she is overplaying her hand, and she is painting herself into a corner, becoming a woman without a country.”
Nevertheless, it is important to argue the following points. First of all, irrespective of the negative publicity, Meghan has managed to generate lots of headlines that did result in her podcast ‘Archetypes’ going number one on Spotify.
Secondly, Meghan has shown that she does have a fan base that has bought into the idea that she had been treated unfairly by the Royal Family. And as long as she continues to have the ‘Duchess of Sussex’ title, that will give her words added weight.
The fans on social media agreed with what Bethenny had to say. A significant proportion of people were of the view that Meghan’s attempts at rebranding had backfired. And in the process of doing so, she had become more unpopular than ever.
