There have been numerous reports about Sasha Banks returning to WWE with some reports saying they were in talks but the contracts haven’t been signed.
Fans have been on both sides of the news as her supporters would love to see her back while others have moved on after she and Naomi walked out in defiance of the women’s division being mishandled.
But it now appears that her return is unlikely or she’ll return as a part time talent after she changed her Twitter name from @SashaBanksWWE to her real name @MercedesVarnado.

Triple H talked about her status with the company in an interview with Ariel Helwani:
“Time will tell. I think in a lot of ways communication breakdowns are terrible and there’s a communication breakdown there, for whatever reason. Starting back up that communication is not a difficult process but it can be a process, right and you have to go through the process. She’s an unbelievably talented young woman that can do just about anything she wants. It just comes down to what does she want to do now with her life, her career, whatever that is. The passion clearly for what we do, there’s a passion for other things as well. It comes down to what does she want to do? It’s gotta be right for her, gotta be right for everybody.”
Moving in a different direction
While Triple H taking over as head of creative in WWE has been an enticement for several stars to return, Banks has talked about wanting to branch into directing videos among other endeavors.
She talked about her future in entertainment on Ahch-To Radio.
“There is so much that I’m creating right now. It’s all under an umbrella. I’m an actor, writer, producer, and extraordinaire entertainer. All within those realms, I’m doing something. You just have to stay tuned. You have a microphone, that’s something big I want to do. Not podcasting, but music. I don’t know if that’s the number one next thing because acting…there are a lot of things coming up acting right now. I’m really starting to focus my mind around music and the music realm and being kind of a director in that space of creating a musical video piece.”
It’s not surprising she would be interested in a future in music since Snoop Dog is her cousin, and we have no doubt she’ll do a great job in whatever endeavor she decides on.
