Kelly, for her part, is set to release her first book entitled: ‘Live Wire.’ The star was expected to release the book on the same day as Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir, but those plans have had to be scrapped.
The passing of the late monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, has understandably delayed things with Harry considering whether or not he should go ahead with the memoir.
With that being said, Kelly is pressing ahead with her own plans as the Duchess of Sussex could be involved.
When asked if Harry will read her book, this is what Kelly had to say: “Oh, I think it’s probably a 0 per cent chance, but maybe Meghan Markle will. I mean, maybe.”
This begs the question: how would Meghan fit into this? Well, Kelly’s book is allegedly going to look into the workings of motherhood, something the Duchess of Sussex is fully aware of.
After all, she had the mammoth task of raising her children after having walked away from the Royal Family in 2020, while at the same time doing her controversial Oprah Winfrey interview.
According to Dey Street Books, the book will have “a collection of personal essays on childhood, motherhood, marriage, her career and the intersection of all the above.”
The fans on social media were not impressed with Kelly’s venture. A certain subset of people were of the view that her book had nothing substantial to offer. And in the process, the comments towards her were very harsh indeed.
One person wrote: “Wellllll that doesn’t make me want to read Ripa’s book ha ha,” while another person stated: “Why do I care what she has to say?”
