Cameron Grimes is trying to find his place in NXT after some big losses. However, he refuses to side with Joe Gacy and Scism, or with the D’Angelo Family. While Gacy would look at this with his usual positive spirit, Tony D’Angelo & Stacks responded with rage. Tonight Grimes needs to find a partner before going against D’Angelo & Stacks. However, he claimed the only man he can trust is Cameron Grimes – and will stand alone tonight.

Joe Gacy Comes To The Aid Of Cameron Grimes

The bell would ring with just Grimes staring down the D’Angelo Family – officially making this a handicap match. Stacks would start off, before being dropped with a running shoulder tackle. The running knee to the midsection before a kick to the neck would follow, before D’Angelo would get the tag and hit some slugging blows.

Grimes would get a Sunset Flip on D’Angelo, but missed the blind tag. Stacks would be able to beat Grimes down, before D’Angelo would keep the pressure on with a scoop slam. Joe Gacy would come to ringside alongside The Dyad, and would grab the tag rope – joining the match as Grimes’ partner.

Grimes would avoid the tag before hitting a double hurricanrana. Stacks would go for a back suplex, and Grimes countered and stumbled into the blind tag. Gacy would clean house and slam Stacks into the mat. Grimes would claim he didn’t need the help, before catching Stacks with the Spanish Fly, D’Angelo with the Cave In – before Gacy hit the Upside Down Lariat for the win.

Grimes claimed he didn’t need Gacy, before taking Ticket To Mayhem from The Dyad. Gacy said that was his last chance, and hit the Upside Down Lariat once again. Schism would pose above Grimes, and things just went from bad to worse for Grimes.

Bron Breakker Looks Back On His NXT 2.0 Run Thus Far

From day one of NXT 2.0 – Bron Breakker has been running the show. He started things off by crushing LA Knight, and has since become a two time NXT Champion. On the one year anniversary of NXT 2.0 – he’d sit down for an interview with Vic Joseph.

He admitted that he was nervous walking into his first match, and quickly found his way to a shot against Tommaso Ciampa, and he had a star-making performance despite losing. That loss taught him about the importance of taking losses, and was able to win it at New Years Evil.

He’d get to induct his father into the Hall of Fame, lost the belt – and took the fight to Ziggler back at Monday Night RAW to win the belt. GUNTHER would fall, Gacy would wage a mental war, beating Grimes & McDonagh, and unifying the NXT & NXT UK Championships brought us to where we sit now.

Has Bron Breakker proved himself over the past year? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
